INCI: Illite (green clay)

Origin:

This green, very fine clay is mined in France and is a purely mineral, natural earth.

Characteristics:

The green color of the clay owes this to the copper compounds in the earth and has a long tradition in France. It is rich in potassium, silicon and magnesium. Stimulates and strengthens the skin, making it ideal for blemished skin. Green top soil regulates excess sebum in hair care and reduces oily scalp.

Applications:

Very rich in minerals, green clay is beneficial for all skin types. It is ideal as a basis for masks, peelings, cleansing creams, hair treatments and as a bath additive.
