Already treasured for its remedial properties by the Pharaohs, black cumin is an ancient cultivated plant, which is domiciled in the Mediterranean countries. Today black cumin is harvested mainly in Egypt. Certified organic from controlled organic agriculture.
Characteristics and substances:
Black cumin oil is a clear, yellow to yellow-reddish oil with aromatic odour. The oil contains a variety of different active substances, especially glycerides with at least 50% of linoleic acid, gamma linolenic acid, high in tocopherols and small amounts of essential oils.
Applications:
Black cumin seed oil is suited very well as a delightful edible oil in salads and with meat dishes.
