The golden yellow prickly pear seed oil contains a high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids: linoleic acid 58 - 70%, oleic acid about 10 - 20%, palmitic acid about 1 8 - 16%, stearic acid about 0 - 5%.
Applications:
Prickly pear seed oil is mainly used in gourmet cuisine. It can be used like grape seed oil. Refine salads and raw food with a few drops of this precious fruity oil.
