Origin:
Sachinchi oil is extracted from the Inca peanut also known as Inca Inchi, Inkanuss or Berg-Peanut. This herbaceous vine grows in the rainforests of the Peruvian Andes.
Characteristics and substances:
Sacha Inchi oil has an exceptional fatty acid spectrum. A content of about 47% of alpha linolenic acid, about 35% of linoleic acid and about 10% of oleic acid. It is considered as edible oil with the highest content of unsaturated fatty acids and is therefore also very valuable from a nutritional physiological point of view.
Applications:
Sacha Inchi oil is very suitable for salads, dips and sauces.
