Origin:

Originally home to the mountain forests of northeastern Africa, the coffee shrub is today cultivated extensively worldwide and above all in South America. The coffee bush has evergreen leaves, 5-fold white flowers and a 2-velvety stone fruit, the so-called coffee cherry.

Characteristics and substances:

PRIMABENE® Coffee oil roasted ORGANIC is obtained from organically grown, carefully roasted Arabica coffee beans by high-pressure extraction with natural carbon dioxide. The caffeine-free oil has a dark brown colour, an intense aroma of freshly roasted coffee and a typical bitter taste.

Application:

Coffee oil is a perfect flavor additive in sweets and drinks. Add a few drops to your cake, chocolate mousse, ice cream, smoothie, nut butter or (vegan) milk for a delicious coffee flavor.
NOTE: Not suitable for direct consumption.

Additional useage:

Due to its antioxidant and nourishing properties, coffee oil is also a great ingredient for cosmetics. Its hydrating properties, caused by the high content of phytosterols, make it an ideal component for the production of anti-aging products, moisturizers and lotions. Because of its aromatic scent, the oil can also be used as a fragrance in cosmetic products.
