Origin:

The peach tree has its origins in China. Peach kernel oil is similar in composition and effect to almond and apricot kernel oil. It is characterized by a high proportion of oleic acid and a significant natural vitamin E content. PRIMABENE® Peach kernel oil refined is gained by mechanical pressing of selected peach kernels. To ensure gentle production, no chemical extraction is used. The peach kernel oil is gently refined.

Characteristics and substances:

The cold-pressed oil consists of 55 - 70 % oleic acid, 17 - 30 % linoleic acid and about 4 - 7 % palmitic acid. The color of peach kernel oil varies from pale yellow to dark yellow.

Applications:

Peach kernel oil is ideal for sensitive, dry and chapped skin types as well as for people with combination skin. Due to its high content of oleic acid, linoleic acid and natural vitamin E, it provides intensive care. PRIMABENE® Peach kernel oil refined is a light oil with hardly any odor and is suitable for the production of natural cosmetics, facial and hair care.
